„The Growing Threat of Space Debris“ – is the theme of our second session. Very basic. Very relevant for SpaceWatchers and those who want to become it.
This Space Café Young Global Talents will feature Rolf Densing, ESA Director of Operations and Head of the European Operations Centre in Darmstadt, in conversation with Chiara Moenter, event coordinator and moderator at SpaceWatch.Global and Frederik Wissner, representative of ELSA Frankfurt am Main, Germany.
In cooperation with SpaceWatch.Global, a platform for the global space community, and ELSA Frankfurt am Main, we will host an event to discuss questions concerning space debris and the risks it poses.
Rolf Densing graduated with a doctorate in physics and has been working in the space sector for more than 25 years. Since 2016 he is the ESA Director of Operations and Head of the European Operations Centre in Darmstadt. Before joining ESA, Rolf Densing was the Director of Space Programmes at the DLR Space Administration, where he was responsible for Germany’s involvement in the ESA’s research, technology and infrastructure programmes.
After having discussed the main questions concerning space debris, you will have the once in a lifetime opportunity to ask Rolf Densing the questions you have.
Come and join us!
